Junior Data Analyst | Full Time (Remote)

Job Description

We are a leading recruiting company seeking a Remote Junior Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to help us make informed business decisions. This is a full-time position and is open to candidates based in the Canada.

Responsibilities:

Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources

Develop and maintain databases and data systems

Interpret and communicate data findings to stakeholders

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide data-driven insights

Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data findings

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems

Assist in the development of data-driven solutions to business problems

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or engineering)

1+ years of relevant experience in data analysis or a related field

Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Experience with programming languages such as Python or R

Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques

Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes

Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
